Delegate registration for the conference includes the following:
- Attendance at all sessions of the Conference
- Access to the Conference exhibition
- CD of the Proceedings
- Refreshments and lunches throughout the Conference
- Drinks reception on the evening of 17th June
- Visit to the National Coal Mining Museum on 18th June
- Conference Dinner on 19th June
- Transport to/from the Conference venue and selected hotels each day
Conference Fees for Delegate registration are as follows:
Early Registration; Full Delegate - £570
(up to 1 April 2012) Student Delegate - £420
Late Registration; Full Delegate - £660
(after 1 April 2012) Student Delegate - £510
Please note: student delegates should email info@comadem2012.org with evidence of their student status (e.g. a letter on 'headed' paper from their supervisor confirming that they are a student)
Guest registration for the conference includes the following
- Drinks reception on the evening of 17th June
- Visit and tour of the National Coal Mining Museum on 18th June
- Conference Dinner on 19th June
- Transport to/from Conference venue and selected hotels
Guest Fees are £120 per guest

Accommodation
Delegates will need to organise their own accommodation as the COMADEM Secretariat are unable to make room reservations on behalf of delegates.
Our suggested hotel is the Cedar Court Hotel (www.cedarcourthotels.co.uk/Huddersfield-Halifax.aspx) which is also the venue for the conference dinner on Tuesday 19th June and there will be transport organised for delegates between here and the main conference venue (and social events) each day. A special delegate rate has been negotiated at £185 for 3 nights' bed and breakfast (nights of the 17th, 18th and 19th June 2012). To take advantage of the special rate, delegates must contact the hotel direct (Tel: +44 1422 314000 or Fax: +44 1422 310067) and should quote' COMADEM Conference' when booking to receive the special delegate rate.
Alternative accommodation options are
- Premier Inn Huddersfield Central (www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/HUDCEN/huddersfield-central) which is less than 5 minutes walk from the main conference venue and town centre.
- Premier Inn Huddersfield West (www.premierinn.com/en/hotel/HUDNAG/huddersfield-west) which is located close to the Cedar Court Hotel. As with the Cedar Court, there will be transport organised for delegates between here and the main conference venue (and social events) each day.
